The Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) was created to:

  • enable the Workforce in Metropolitan Lagos benefit from continuous academic and professional training and development.
  • add value to existing part-time degree programmes by strengthening them in terms of quality and quantity of teachers, infrastructure and facilities.

The Institute is to ensure that the undergraduate part-time programmes are taught efficiently and at par with their day counterparts through monitoring and evaluation.

The programmes will not be affected by strikes and will be taught by qualified and experienced teachers.

The programmes, domiciled in their various Faculties, are co-ordinated and administered by the Institute.

UNILAG ICE Admission

The Institute of Continuing Education in collaboration with Faculties of Arts, Management Sciences, and Social Sciences hereby invites applications for admission into B.A/B.Sc. degree programmes from Monday, 1st July, 2019 to Thursday, November 14th, 2019.

UNILAG ICE Admission Procedure

Before one can be offered admission into UNILAG ICE, there are procedures the school follows.

The first step is the sales of UNILAG ICE application forms. Every candidate that is interested in gaining admission into the ICE Programme must first of all obtain the Admission Form from UNILAG ICE Application Portal.

Secondly, after the sales of the application form, the institute will conduct an entrance exam for all candidates applying for B.A/B.Sc degree in all courses.

Thirdly, candidates who score up to the required cut off mark for their courses are given admission and invited for final screening which has to do with the inspection of their credentials to ensure that they meet the general and specific admission requirements for their courses.

Eventually, successfully screened candidates are given the go ahead to pay the acceptance fee which is a sign of acceptance of the admission.

This is immediately followed by the payment of school fees and the commencement of lectures.


Candidates seeking for admission into the Institute of Continuing Education must first of all obtain the Admission Form.

The ICE form must be correctly filled and submitted online.

When is UNILAG ICE Form Coming Out?

The application form fee can be paid to any of the following banks within UNILAG: Access Bank Plc, Ecobank Plc, First Bank Plc, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, UBA Plc, Union Bank Plc, Wema Bank Plc and Zenith Bank Plc. Before going to the bank, you must first of all generate and print out your Reference Number.
